As from the 1st December 2018, we have changed our payment terms on all new contracts with our customers.
We have had to change to staged payments with the following terms-
30% deposit when signing contract and booking a slot in the diary for work to start.
30% at the end of the first week of work or as agreed in contract
40% on completion of satisfactory work.
Also, no installation will be booked into the diary until the signed contract and deposit has been paid, once received, we will confirm via email the date for installation and receipt of payment.
The reason for the change is to cover wages, materials and travel expenses whilst working on the client’s project.
We do not make any profit until the end of the job and, this ensures we are not out of pocket.
We are running a local small business and not a charity and this ensures both parties agree and stick to the contract.
